At the age of 43 Gary endured and overcame his own unexpected health crisis, thus beginning his 2nd career. As a Financial Services Professional, Gary works with individuals, families, business owners, and businesses to implement diversified financial asset strategies, tax efficient distribution of those assets, and effect planning for legacy considerations while considering unplanned adversity. Having his own unique perspective of what it means to start over in life, his vow is “to serve” as many of those he meets or has ever known, loved, or cared for. He looks to protect his clients, their loved ones, and/or their employees with appropriate strategies.
Gary has achieved three-time Executive Council. He was recognized as the 2019 Agent of the Year, 2019 Investments Leader of the Year, and was also inducted into the membership Class of 2020 for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). His 31 years career work experience includes Corporate Finance/Marketing, Retirement Financial Administrative Data Systems, and Government/Education/Major Medical/Fortune 1000 B2B sales.
As a community volunteer, he currently or has previously served on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity, the San Antonio Rodeo Special Sales Committee, been a Professional Volunteer for the Junior Achievement program, and served as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Coordinator. He is an avid rodeo fan and outdoorsman who places his faith in the Lord before all else and proudly supports his country, military, and all first responders.
Gary earned MBAs in Business Management and Management Information Systems. He also holds BBAs in Finance and Accounting. He is the proud father to a wonderful daughter, Mackenzie Ryan, whom he dedicates his determination and work ethic.
